We gathered up the typical camping supplies including a tent, sleeping bag and special grill made just for a boat. We had to include a few extras like bathing suits and sun tan lotion. We set the home security alarm from www.securitychoice.com/20-tips-for-home-safety.html and headed out bright and early Saturday morning. We stopped by the grocery store and picked up some staples like hot dogs and ingredients for smores. We got to the boat landing and launched the boat into the water.
We had a great day swimming and fishing and hanging out with friends. Right before nightfall we pitched the tent and set up the special grill. The tent was a little hard to get up with all the wind but we managed. SO far boat camping was much nice than camping in the woods. It was cleaner and far less bugs! That night the rocking of the boat made us both sleep like babies. I would definitely go camping on a boat again.
